The
Group was the first manufacturer introducing reclosable plastic bags,
flexible drinking straws, and artificial flowers and plants to Thai
market. Having gained an enormous market acceptance and worldwide market
penetration, we have become one of the world's largest producers and
listed Thantawan
Industries Public Co., Ltd. on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
In 1985 we successfully diversified into property development sector
with a number of condominiums and residential estates. By adhering strictly
to a policy that emphasizes quality and honesty, the group's projects
have grown in popularity and won consumer trust. In addition to housing,
we also developed 2 prestigious office towers. The first TST Tower is
a 25-storey office tower featuring the first large scale digital board
ever incorporated into a building in Thailand. The second is the twin
40-storey and 32-storey Sun Towers.
As a concerned member of the community, Sunflower Group established
the Sunflower Foundation which is responsible for the management of
the "Sunflower 19 Baht Clinics". The clinics were set up to help financially
needed people. Currently, there are three clinics located in the district
of Huey Kwang, on Phahonyothin Road near the Mo Chit Terminal and in
the province of Nakhorn Pathom.
